Biography

Born in Lisbon.

1981/86 Biochemistry Studies, Coimbra and Lisbon Universities.

1988/92 Painting Studies Program, Ar.Co., Lisbon.

1993 Exchange Student at the Royal College of Art, London.
Travel Scholarship (from the American Foundation) to the U.S.A.

1994 Study Travels to Japan and Australia.

1994/95 MA in Fine Art, Goldsmiths College, University of London (Scholarship from the Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon).

Lives and works in Cologne, Lisbon and Berlin. Since October 2009 holder of the portuguese arts award „Amadeu de Sousa Cardoso“.
