It seams like the paintings of Ana Luísa Ribeiro have to do with fragments of art catalogues. The artist copies, in oil, strongly enlarged book pages. Through the changing of the relashionship of sizes, and because the paintings only show details of images and texts, deslocations of the senses happen. In few of the cases it is possible to identify the origin of the page or even of the autor. Are the pincel strokes from Ribeiro reconstructed or her own?
